Self-love for dummies

Exactly one year ago I declared my love. For everything around and within me. The love affair has continued and gotten stronger with each passing day. The love has made me do things I never thought I could or would or should. And that is exactly because I stopped defining my could, would and should. Let’s get out of our minds!

I heard someone say : ‘Everything that starts as fun in my life, turns into a reason for my sadness later’. She, like most of us, thinks based on the most basic model of happiness and its opposite passed on to us over years and generations. The model that has been created by us. Graphically it would look like a simple sine wave – with crests forming our happy moments and troughs forming the unhappy ones. Thanking you, yours lovingly!

Last evening before putting by son to bed, I asked him to say a little prayer with me. Well, not exactly a prayer from any of the holy books. But I asked him to just think about his day and thank for all the things he liked.
